The Challenge:
The Danson Mwashako Foundation (DMF) is a community-rooted powerhouse, driving sustainable development, environmental conservation, and social well-being in Taita Taveta County and beyond. Despite their profound on-the-ground impact – from planting 36,000 trees to touching over 50,000 lives – their digital presence didn’t fully reflect the scope, professionalism, and passion of their work.
LocaPay Limited emerged as a key player in Kenya’s rapidly evolving digital finance sector, offering secure, efficient, and innovative payment solutions for businesses. To truly establish their position as a “Trusted Partner for Modern Business Payments,” LocaPay needed a robust, user-friendly, and highly credible online presence.
Boostica’s Solution:
Boostica Limited partnered with the Danson Mwashako Foundation to create a comprehensive digital ecosystem that mirrored their dedication and reach.
1. Website Design & Development:
Our team designed and developed a custom, responsive website built on a robust CMS, ensuring it was accessible and user-friendly across all devices. Key features included:
Clear menu items (Home, About Us, What We Do, Gallery, Events, Blog, FAQ, Contact, Donate Now) for effortless user journey.
We distilled their foundational story, commitment to community ownership, and the Chairman’s inspiring message into engaging, digestible content.
Dedicated sections for “Our Focus Areas” and “Our Partners” with dynamic presentation of key metrics (2+ Years of history, 36,000 Trees Planted, 50,000+ Lives Touched).
A prominent “DONATE NOW” button and streamlined process to encourage and facilitate contributions.
Dedicated “Gallery” for visual storytelling, “Events” for upcoming activities, and a “Blog” for news and updates, keeping the community informed and engaged.
A “Join Our Mailing Group” section to build their community and ensure ongoing engagement.
2. Logo Design & Branding: We understood the need for a logo that was professional, represented growth, and resonated with their core values of community, environment, and development.
The logo concept subtly integrated elements of growth (like a sprouting tree or upward trajectory) with a sense of community or protection, reflecting both the “MtiMtoto Initiative” and their broader impact.
We selected a palette that evokes trust, nature, and hope, using greens, blues, and earthy tones that align with their environmental and community focus
The final logo was designed to be versatile across all platforms – from the website to print materials and merchandise – ensuring consistent brand recognition.

A professional online platform immediately boosted their standing with potential donors, partners, and the community.
Clear communication of their initiatives, coupled with easy access to information and updates, fostered greater community involvement.
